The aforesaid Policy is being explained as under :
Vijaya Educational Society
- The policy is applicable to the students who pass Class IX examination to Class XII examination from our school and continue their study in the next class at ours, the continuity clause is not applicable to the students who qualify Class XII examination.
- While calculating the percentage in final result on the basis of which scholarship shall be decided, marks obtained in internal assessment and in practical shall not be considered. Further, marks secured only in main subjects are to be taken.
- Scholarship shall be given to the students who secure (i) atleast 95% marks in the final result which shall the prepared after taking the weightage in various terminals and (ii) The claimant of scholarship must obtain atleast 70% marks in the first terminal exam in the next class. To be eligible for scholarship, both the conditions must be fulfilled. The quantum of scholarship has been fixed as Rs.10000/- (Ten Thousand).
- The amount of scholarship shall be disbursed on the occasion of celebration of Children Day.
- The policy can be changed after giving notice in advance to the students. The change, if any, must be announced before the commencement of First terminal in September.

The award is given to the students who secure first three positions classwise.
Best Handwriting
This award is given classwise with best handwriting
Vocabulary
Five words on every working day shall be written on the notice board w.e.f the first working day of May till mid December. These words shall be the syllabus for vocabulary test. On the first working day of January , the vocabulary test will be conducted. 50 words will be given to write their meaning and make sentence for their use. The students securing First three positions would be awarded provided they get atleast 80% marks. The students of Classes VI to XII can participate in this contest
G.K and Current Affair
Daily five facts are given on the prescribed notice board. On this basis, the under reference contest is conducted half-yearly.
Attendance
Any student whose attendance is 100% during the Session shall be awarded.
Kalpana Chawla Memorial Award
Vijaya Educational Society
In Class XII, who is getting Kalpana Chawla Memorial Award shall not be eligible to get scholarship under the above policy. We may state that under ‘Kalpana Chawla Memorial Award’, cash prize of Rs.15000/- is given to student(s) who secures (atleast 95%) first position in the school in Senior Secondary Examination conducted by the Board. The cash award is Rs.51000/- in case the percentage is 98% and above.
